I have such fun projects to share with you today! I was asked by Splitcoaststampers, a well known paper crafting website, to make a tutorial using the envelope punchboard for their extensive resources section of their website - what an honor to be asked!
These little cuties are quick and easy to make. And SO fun to decorate! Watch the tutorial below and then scroll down to see just some of the many boxes I made!
Here is the video tutorial! If you prefer a photo tutorial go to Splitcoaststampers for step by step instryctions.
This is my favorite "go to" punch board project - this cute little tote (or bag in a box) that was originally designed by UK demonstrator Sam Hammond.
I had a lot of fun playing with the brand new products from the upcoming Stampin' Up!® Holiday Catalog to decorate mine! Including this GORGEOUS Petals & Paisleys Designer Paper, Copper Sheets, and Paisley Framelit Dies!
Here is what the tote looks like from the top.
Of course the Foxy Friends stamp set and Fox Builder punch look adorable on this project too!
In addition to a ribbon closure you can use a paper clip - or make the clip functional AND cute with the Bow Paper Clips. This box is made with the Affectionately Yours Designer Paper and the Love & Affection stamp set.
One more to share, this cute Sweet Sugarplum version - I love this unusual color for wintery cards! This one is made from the Envelope Paper which is quite thin. If you use a thin paper like this place layer of printer paper on it before you punch out the handle - otherwise it will tear and not cut. The layering circle is the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper - which did not photograph well but is wonderfully sparkly in person! At the center is a Fancy Frost Sequin to add even more sparkle!
