Have you gotten the new Gray Granite Ink Pad and the matching Gray Granite card stock?! This color is SO elegant, especially when paired with white! It's my new favorite "go to" neutral. To make the card I started with a panel of Gray Granite and stamped the big beautiful flower image in Gray Granite ink twice, in opposite corners. Then I went to the Big Shot and cut out a window with the middle sized stitched label die. The piece I cut out became....
...the inside of the card. All I had to add was the greeting!
On the front of the card, in the "frame" that I created, I added a piece of the beautiful Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Designer Series Paper. I attached it to the back of the front panel using the "bonus" outside edge pieces that come with the Dimensionals.
To finish off my cards, I added the greeting from the set and used the Triple Banner punch to create the banner shape. Then I added a piece of Gray Granite ribbon, tied in a knot, and attached it with a Mini Glue Dot. I made 26 cards for the Stampin' Up! Alaska Incentive Trip Swap.
The OTHER new, limited time product that came out today are the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2. This assortment includes Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Garden Green, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, and Night of Navy. This assortment is being offered through the end of August, but may appear again a future Stampin' Up! publication.
My husband Mike and my son Joe joined me on this wonderful trip to Alaska - I'm so grateful to Stampin' Up!, my Stampfield Stars team members, and my customers for the opportunity to treat my family to this wonderful vacation!
One of our most memorable moments was climbing aboard this float plane in Juneau...
....and flying over Mendenhall and Taku Glaciers!
The weather was beautiful and the pilot was able to get really close to the glaciers...
It was truly breathtakingly beautiful!
Our pilot landed the plane in front of the Hole In The Wall Glacier and the Taku Lodge. There were 4 wild bears strolling about the grounds while we waited for our delicious salmon to bake on the open grill.
This is actually a black bear - even though it is brown (they call brown black bears "cinnamon").
We had a lovely hike around the grounds with a guide. It was beautiful. (Our son Joe took this photo of Mike and I, you can see the glacier behind us).
It was a wonderful trip - Stampin' Up! pampered and spoiled us non-stop...AND they gave us the new Holiday Catalog (and some of the products that are coming in that catalog too!). Thanks for stopping by today - be sure to check out the limited time Blended Seasons and Stitched Seasons products here. Happy paper crafting!
