I'm making this fun little birdie at Barb's Stampin' Up! party tomorrow night! The "eye" is the new candy dot brads - love those! The party hat is made from the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I love the Chalk Talk stamp set - what a versatile stamp set! On this card it is so elegant! But on my previous post it has a whimsical feel. I was inspired by a card made by Stampin' Up! demonstrator Linda Gutierrez with a similar color scheme and layout.
Here is a video on how to make the banner flag for this card using the hexagon punch - super easy!! I also show a quick tip on how to make the flower have added dimension.

Wouldn't this be a fun suprise to give to a friend or co-worker?! You could write "Hope your day really sparkles!" on the back of the tag!! Sparklers are fun ANY TIME - not just on the 4th of July! But this is a great time to pick them up at the store. The tag is made with the adorable new "Chalk Talk" stamp set and matching Framelits! The sparklers are neatly packaged in the inexpensive skinny Cellophane bags. The little star punch out of red glimmer paper adds a little "sparkle" and color to the tag. The finishing touch is the fabulous new Chevron Ribbon in Basic Black. Happy (almost) 4th of July!!
