Isn't this a bright and cheery card?! I love this Christmas Wreath! I got the idea from a card fellow demonstrator Dawn Olchefske did last year with an interlocking Christmas wreath using the Daydream Medallions stamp set and the Floral Frame Framelits. You can see Dawn's card here. At that time we did not have the Circle Framelits - but now we do! So I updated Dawn's design with an opening in the center of the wreath.
This is how the wreath "interlocks" to open the card. The colors are Gumball Green, Whisper White, with a dash of Real Red. We did this card in my Big Shot Class and for stamp club this month. It was a big hit! Here is the inside of the card:
The panels are 4" x 1 7/8" and we embossed them with the Northern Flurry embossing folder. You can easily fit both pieces in the folder and send them through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine in one go.
We used the sentiment from the "Delightful Dozen" stamp set - a great all year round stamp set to have in your stamp cupboard! This is a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square card, the embossed . To make a perfect envelope use the Envelope Punch board and make an envelope for a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" size card.
Thanks for stopping by today! Remember that the Holiday Catalog ends on January 2nd so click here to order your favorites before they are gone!
