Welcome to the hop! This month's theme is birthdays, and, more specifically the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement! Which is pretty fun because today, March 20th, is my actual birthday - tee-hee!
When we were deciding on our blog hop themes for the spring it did not dawn on me that this birthday themed hop would fall on my actual birthday! So what is #imbringingbirthdaysback? Simply put this movement is about getting back to mailing cards instead of just posting wishes on Facebook.
If you want to take part and mail a lot of birthday cards this year to family and friends you may want to make some large stacks of birthday cards in one go. This design is perfect for that - it looks complicated but it is super simple with the Sunburst die.
The coordinating stamp set, Sunburst Sayings, fits perfectly in the center - and stands out with the help of the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle punches, and the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle. The designer series paper is the Wildflower Fields which is FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration. But don't wait to order yours, Sale-a-bration ends on March 31st!!
The Sunburst Sayings stamp set also has great greetings for the inside of the card!
You can purchase the die and the set together as a bundle and save 15% - woo hoo!
This die makes it so quick and easy! And the best part? This layout looks great with a wide variety of papers...
Here is the same layout with Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper, Pool Party card stock, and some Pool Party Glitter Ribbon. The saying on this card is from the Sale-a-bration stamp set Party Pants - free with a $50 order!
And this card is also made with the Wildflower Fields designer paper - just a different pattern...
And another version with the Wildflower Fields Designer Paper.
