Isn't this gnome adorable?! And so easy and fun to make that I just couldn't stop with this treat holder!
I also used a gnome to decorate this simple gift card holder ( I use a ton of these gift holders this time of year!). A few punches and one die make this gnome quick and easy to create!
For this easy gift card holder, just slide off the belly band to open up the card - inside is a pocket for the gift card. Dimensions and directions for this gift card holder are on the free pdf project sheet I have linked below.
Ready to make your gnomes?! Super fun and easy!
If you prefer a video tutorial check out this video that I did on my Facebook Page on how to make these cute projects.
Here are the "magic" ingredients to build these cute gnomes! Full details are in the project sheet I linked above or you can watch the video. The original creator of this gnome project was demonstrator Diane Kessluk. She fussy cut a circle punch for the beard. I wanted to make this project in my Die Cutting and Embossing class and I did not want my crafters to have to fussy cut. So I set out to find a die in my collection that would make the perfect beard. And behold, the Tropical Dies had the solution! A leaf die that was just perfect! You can watch Diane's original video on YouTube here.
So darn cute!! The mouth is just a simple curved line drawn with the Basic Black Marker.
I hope you have a ton of fun creating your own gnomes for your holiday gift giving! They would make darling tags to go on to your holiday gifts!
In case you were wondering what was inside.....yummy!
