Do you love a bargain?! I sure do! I was amazed to see the gorgeous dies that I used on this card on sale right now for 60% off as part of Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog Retiring Last Chance Sale! And the ribbon is 60% off too! At these prices these won't last long - pick yours up here. I have another card for you below with these pretty dies.
These are all of the dies that you get in the Ornate Border Dies pack. I used the eyelet lace border, the daisy border, and the three flower dies for this card.
If you subscribe to my weekly free project sheets emails, you will be receiving a step by step project sheet for this pretty card in your in box this week! If you are not getting my free project sheets, you can sign up HERE. The little green "stems" are the leftover scraps when you cut out the daisy. I used the Timeless Label Punch for the greeting (also retiring). The lovely sentiment comes from the stamp set Positive Thoughts which is carrying over - yay!
Just a quick peek at the inside of the card. These images are also from the versatile Positive Thoughts stamp set.
One more card with these pretty Ornate Border Dies! Aren't they gorgeous! I hope they are still available when you are reading this blog post! You can see all of the items that are on sale HERE. Thank you for visiting my blog today. Happy creating!

Below are the supplies for the Ornate Borders Daisy Card
I'm so excited to share this cute little box with you today! I have a free PDF tutorial for you and a video. The Layering Oval Dies, which I used for this project, are retiring!!! I hope you have them in your stash - they are SO versatile! If you don't have them, you can pick them up HERE.
Looking for bargains? Check out the Stampin' Up! Retiring Products Sale! For a LARGE PRINT version of the all the items that are on retiring (and a LOT of them are on SALE) click HERE for an Excel larger print document that can be sorted, and HERE for a PDF document. These lists have only the English items on them to reduct the number of pages when printed out.
Back to our bunny project! The flap of the box is punched with the Delightful Tag Topper punch which gives the bunny the scalloped, fluffy head. Of course I HAD to add a fluffy tail - so I used the Small Blooms Punch (also retiring and on sale!) - I punched two of them and curled the top one a bit to look more "fluffy". This project was inspired by UK Stampin' Up! demonstrators Michelle Last and Emma Fawcett, I just changed it up a bit.
The nice thing about this box is that it is fairly deep so it can hold bigger candy like these Ferrero Caramel Eggs - I fit five inside the box! The window cut out in front is done with the 2nd from smallest smooth sided oval and then covered with a Window Sheet. The opening is optional but it is really fun to see the candy inside!
One of the things that I like about this box is that the recipient can open it with out ruining the cute box. I used half of a velcro closure to keep the box closed. The eyes are the Matte Black Dots and the nose is from the Dog Builder Punch (which is also retiring AND on sale).
Of course, I just could not stop at a bunny. Just think of all the fun critters you could turn this box into! I decided to make a ducky. His tuft of feathers on top is the same punch I used for the bunnies tail, the retiring Small Blooms Punch. But can you guess what punch I used for the beak, wings, and feet?
If you guessed the Kiss Punch from the January through June Mini Catalog then you are correct! The lips made the wings and feet, the heart was the beak. Taking a punch and using it in a new and different ways is one of my FAVORITE things to do!!
As you can see, my hubby got into the back of Butterfinger Nesteggs but I managed to save a few for the project - lol! As you can see, the duck's head opens the same as the bunny. I tried using just a quarter of a Velcro circle (I was running low) but it really needs a half circle to stay closed well. Now, ready to make some cute projects? Grab a tag topper punch and check out this PDF tutorial and the video below!
Thank you so much for visiting me today! Be sure to check out all of the bargains on the retiring list in my online store before they disappear! You can find the deals HERE.

Now on to our fun fold! I'm so excited to share this with you today - I have a video tutorial AND PDF tutorials for you. This is the Vertical Easel Fold - when you open it....
The inside message becomes an easel or "kickstand" so that the card can stand to be displayed! If you get my weekly emails then this card will look familiar to you - it is one of the two fun fold project sheets that I sent out yesterday. Don't miss next week's free weekly project sheets, sign up HERE.
I decided to share the project sheet for this card here too (usually the weekly project sheets are not ones that I share on my blog):
This version is also made with the Butterfly Brilliance Collection but this time I stamped and colored the butterflies. I also used the GORGEOUS Natural Touch Specialty Paper - so pretty! It's like a light maple wood grain and even has texturing like real wood. When the card is open....
There is another pretty butterfly hiding inside! The card is a standard size, it is scored down the center of the card. The focal point on the front is just adhered on the left side so that it stands out when the card is open. Here is the free tutorial - there is also a video below.
In this "top down" version you can see how the card stands up - it forms a triangle so the card can stand - which is awesome! Special thanks to demonstrator Wendy Lee for sharing how to do this fun fold, I love it!
In this video tutorial I walk you through how to make this fun card! I also share all of the cards in my Butterfly Brilliance class!

Here are the supplies for the version with the Natural Touch "maple" paper with the colorful butterflies.
Here are the supplies for the purple version with the Brilliant Butterflies dies:
I have three cards to share with you today - and all of them involve the sponge brayer! First up, this pretty anniversary card made with the True Love Designer Series Paper and the Always In My Heart Bundle. Dimension for this card can be found below by the list of supplies.
The True Love Designer Paper comes in black and white, as you can see in the top photo (click the photo to go to my Stampin' Up! online store to see all of the patterns). But it is easy to custom color it with the Sponge Brayer! I used Magenta Madness ink pad. I wanted a darker concentration of ink on the two ends, and lighter in the middle. So I pressed harder when I rolled the brayer and pressed a bit lighter in the center.
The Sponge Brayers are inexpensive ($8) and you get two handles with 4 sponge rollers in the box. The sponge rollers can be washed and you can change ink colors. However, with very intense colors (like Magenta Madness) I tend to just keep that roller for all of my darker pink and red colors. I have another technique below with these handy little rollers!
Before we look at the next two cards, here is a peek at the inside of the card. All of the dies and stamp images are from the Always In My Heart Bundle. I love this edge die that cuts the little hearts!
Inky Folder Technique time! This card is a great example of the "Inky Folder" technique with the sponge brayers. The card uses the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder - doesn't it look just like an ocean with white caps?! I have a video below walking you through how to make this awesome background and the card dimensions are at the bottom of this post by the supplies for this card. If you subscribe to my free weekly project sheets, this was one of the free project sheets that you received in this mornings email. You can subscribe to my weekly project sheet emails HERE. This great masculine card features the Sailing Home stamp set and the Smooth Sailing dies. This card was designed by demonstrator Terri Walker, I simply changed the greeting for my version. Thanks for the inspiration Terri!
Depending on which side of the folder you ink up with the sponge brayer, you can get very different looks! For the Sailing Home card I inked up the side that did not have the Stampin' Up! logo on it so that I had the "white caps" to make the card look like a rough sea.
In the video below I took the same folder that I used to make the Sailing Home card, did not add any more ink, and sent another piece of Basic White through to get this lighter background. I die cut the Butterfly from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper using the Brilliant Wings dies and added it to the front of the card. The "Happy Easter" sentiment is from the Springtime Joy stamp set. A few of the Artistry Blooms sequins (they already have adhesive on them) finished off the card.
In the video I did not get my card stock in exactly the same place as the first time - so I got a darker line of ink on one edge. To avoid that - just rub excess ink off of the folder with a paper towel before you send you paper through.
Here is the video with all of the tips and tricks on doing the Inky Folder Technique!
I hope that I have inspired you today on new ways to use the Sponge Brayers - they are a great addition to your paper crafting tools! If you would like to place an order, you can click on any of the products shown below to go to my Stampin' Up! store. I'm splitting the products into two different groups for the two different techniques. Don't forget to sign up for my weekly free project sheets for more inspiration, you can sign up HERE.

Hello! I'm so excited to share this pretty card with you today! I have a video and dimensions below - plus lots of tips. This card is both heat embossed and dry embossed. I used the White Embossing Powder and the Quite Curvy set for the "Hello" greeting. The dry embossing is done with the beautiful Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder - so gorgeous! Champagne Rhinestones add a little sparkle!
The card is made with some of the products from the beautiful Butterfly Brilliance Collection that came out today! Do you get my weekly free project sheets in your email box? In this week's email I shared a project sheet for another pretty card made with the Butterfly Brilliance Collection. You can sign up for the weekly project sheets HERE.
The pretty Butterfly Bijou 6" x 6" Designer Paper perfectly lines up with the large butterfly die - so you can die cut six instant butterflies (no coloring required!).
After you die cut the butterflies, the leftover paper looks like this. You can still die cut out these partial butterflies and use them on the inside of your card or peeking behind a layer. I just lined up the flat edge of the butterfly with the edge of the card, and you would never guess that it was just a partial butterfly!
Here is a close up on all of the pretty patterns in the Butterfly Bijou paper. I used the pattern on the bottom row, second from the left behind my trio of butterflies. I hope you enjoyed today's card! One of the great things about being a demonstrator is all of the creative inspiration we receive from other demonstrators in the Stampin' Up! demonstrator only Facebook group. For this card I was very much inspired by a layout shared by Australian Demonstrator Kylie Page. The background of her card was covered in the multiple white die cut detailed butterflies. I loved the card but did not want to have to cut out that many intricate butterflies (I like fast cards!). So I simplified the card by doing an embossed background instead and made a few other changes as well.
Measurements:
Basic White 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" - for card base
Basic White 4" x 5-1/4" - for embossed layer
Basic White 2-3/4" x 4" - for butterfly layer
Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper, Calypso Coral pattern, 2-7/8" x 4-1/8" - for layer under the butterfly layer.
Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper, large Butterfly print, to die cut out the butterflies.
In this video I walk you through how to make the card, share some tips on heat embossing, and show you what you get in the collection. Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you would like to purchase any of the items that I used on today's projects they are listed below, just click on the photo to go to the item in the store. Thanks for stopping by today!
