For the inside of this version, I added more die cut stars and some of the fun banner die cuts too!

Yay!! Celebrating the NEW Stampin' Up! Catalog today!! Where to start?! So many wonderful things! So I decided to share a Floating Gatefold card with you using some of the gorgeous new products!
The card features the stunning Celebrate Sunflowers bundle - aren't these dies beautiful?! And that lovely golden yellow is the new Bumblebee InColor! I've paired it with Early Espresso, Old Olive, and Mossy Meadow. The beautiful embossing folders is a fun two pack called Greenery. The sweet Bumblebee gingham ribbon is the perfect finishing touch to the greeting.
You can see the full view here. Check out the video and step by step tutorial below! I was inspired by demonstrator Dawn Griffith - thanks Dawn!

Welcome! This month for our blog hop theme we are saying farewell to some of our favorite retiring items...
So I decided to share this lovely card butterfly card with you today. I have a free PDF tutorial for you at the end of this post. The beautiful ornate frame die on this card is new and will be staying (yay!), but the pretty butterfly die, embossing folder, and the cute Label Me Bold greetings stamps are retiring (darn!). The greetings are "relief image" stamps so the ink (Basic Gray used here) is actually on the rectangle around the word and the word becomes whatever color your card stock is. So I stamped the greeting on white which makes my words white - cool, right?!
The butterfly comes from the awesome Butterfly Beauty die set. This set of dies has two LARGE dies that are an entire series of butterflies which are meant to layer. For this card I used just the large detail die (the other big die in the set is a bit wider and layers under this one so you can have two tone butterflies). You can cut all of the butterflies using a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock like I've done in this photo, and then cut them apart to use on different projects OR you can cut a small square of card stock and just cut the one you want (and trim off the excess).
In this close up photo you can see that I embossed a piece of vellum with the retiring Beads and Baubles embossing folder. I layered it over Petal Pink card stock which gave the card a very soft, delicate look. At the center of my butterfly, I've added a bit of "bling" with the Champagne Rhinestones.
For the inside of the card I added the sentiment in Basic Gray from the Positive Thoughts stamps set and then die cut a few of the tiny butterflies from the Butterfly Beauty set of dies. The strip of designer series paper is from the Best Dressed Designer paper pack which is retiring. Did you know there is an exclusive Facebook group JUST for Stampin' Up! demonstrators to get ideas? It is managed by Stampin' Up! and is called "Demonstrator Planning Place". Hundred and hundreds of amazing card ideas shared continually! That is where the inspiration for this card came from, a fellow demonstrator, Donna Ross shared a pink and gray card that totally inspired me! Thanks for the idea Donna!
I love the elegant, finished look that you get when you add ribbon to your card - so I added a beautiful bow with the gorgeous Petal Pink 1/4" Metallic Edge ribbon - I'm so, so sad this one is retiring!!
Here is a free step by step PDF tutorial for you that includes all the measurements and walks you through how to make this card step by step:

Can you believe this adorable piggy stamp set is retiring?! Scroll down for details on what is retiring and what is on SALE or click here to see the retiring list. I also have a video and PDF tutorial for you on how to make this card. Social distancing is tough, and we miss our friends and family. Make and send this sweet little card to your loved ones so that they know you are thinking of them. This cute little mask is easy to make - it even looks pleated like real hospital masks!
The inside greeting and the "Hey, friend" greeting on the front are both from the awesome Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (which is NOT retiring). Special thanks to demonstrator Candy Ford who created this card and I added my own touches to it.
The mask is a tiny piece of cardstock, 3/8" x 5/8" with score lines every 1/8" made with the Simply Scoring tool - see tips in the video below for an easier way to score this small piece. The piggy is colored with the Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Combo and the Light Crumb Cake for the hooves and dirt...
Speaking of Stampin' Blends, I just wanted to let you know that even though they are on the retired list - they are not retiring! The combo packs are being renamed and will have a new item number, but they will be in the new catalog. Single markers, light and dark, ARE being retired though. So you may want to go through your existing blends and make sure they are all still working as this is the last chance to replace just one marker in the set.
For a free PDF Tutorial of this card, click HERE.
RETIRED LIST: You will see some asterisks on the PDF, this is what they mean:
*Host sets can only be purchased using Stampin' Rewards when your order is over $150 before tax & shipping.
**While the items in these bundles are NOT retiring, after June 2, 2020, they will no longer be offered at as a bundle with a 10% discount.
***Bundle includes some products that are not retiring; refer to the retiring list above to see what individual products are retiring.
****These items are NOT retiring but are being reconfigured with a new item number and name.
Now for the somewhat confusing bit. The following items are on the retiring list but are also in the new catalog. The ones retiring were made by a different supplier but are, in essence, the same as what will be in the new catalog. Some of these "old style" dies are being offered at an incredible discount and are definitely worth picking up (like the Nature's Roots Framelits dies).

Sending handmade love, it's what the world needs now more then ever, one person at a time. And, fortunately, it is what we paper crafters do best!! I'm excited to share a simple card layout with you today that you can use to create a bunch of cards to get out in the mail using your supplies that you have on hand. The cards below have been sent out to health card providers with a special project that I've been helping my sister-in-law with.
I refer to this layout as the Three Panel Card layout and I have 5 different versions for you today plus the original card that inspired me which I received in a swap. All of the card feature the Ornate Layers Dies, the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set, and the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper.
First up: "Colorful Daisies with Soft Suede". Here are the dimensions for this simple card layout:
Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half
White Layer: 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Designer Paper: Three pieces 1" x 4", preferably all the same pattern.
Paper for Ornate Layer Die: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Layer for the greeting: 1" x 2 3/8"
Then we have some pretty spring green on "Colorful Daisies with Old Olive". The detail that you get with these stunning new Ornate Layers Dies is incredible!!
And last a cheerful pop of yellow on "Colorful Daisies with Crushed Curry". Which colorful daisy color combo is your favorite?!
By simply choosing a different pattern from the pack of Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Paper, we get a completely different look! Let's see, I think I will call this one "Spring Posies with Terracotta Tile"
And "Spring Posies with Old Olive". The ribbons on the two Spring Posy cards are from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack which is part of this fantastic Ornate Garden Suite of products.
This is the original card that I received in the swap that inspired me to make these cards, it was created by Minnesota demonstrator Carrie McHale - thanks Carrie!
My sister-in-law is staying with us during the pandemic and has been crocheting these "ear savers" for health card professionals to keep the strain off their ears from wearing their masks all the time. I have been helping add the buttons and getting them out to people. One batch went to Children's Hospital in St. Paul and one went to the staff in the ER at United Hospital. Both batches included one of the cards from above letting them know how much we appreciate what they do for our community!

Welcome to the hop! Who is ready fro a creative escape?! I have a set of 3 lovely cards to share and a free PDF tutorial so you can make you make them from home!
Today I'm sharing this lovely trio of cards - to me they are warm, happy, and a promise of spring!
The layout for all three cards is the same - and on all three I'm using the products from the Timeless Tropical stamp set and the GORGEOUS Tropical Oasis!! This one pairs Cherry Cobbler with Early Espresso - one of my favorite color combos!
So Saffron for a bright and happy card! Same layout, Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper once again!
The 2nd step in coloring was adding the Watercolor Pencils - do you see the difference from left to right?! Really adds warmth!
This great saying went on the inside - also from the Timeless Tropical Stamp set.

The mini card is 4" x 6", scored at 3". Then cut at 1" up to the score line and stop. Then cut up on the 3" mark and stop. That will form two end panels, 1" wide. The Designer Paper is 3/4" x 2 3/4" for each end panel, and for the inside. The Designer Paper on the center panel is 1 3/4" x 2 3/4". The Window Sheet piece on the mini card is 1" x 3".
