Do you love creative folds as much as I do?! This version is a sympathy card made with the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper. Last chance to get this lovely paper before it retires! The best part? It's on sale for half price while supplies last!! I show another version at the end of the video below that was made with some brand new products that are coming on January 5th. I also have a link below for a free project sheet tutorial for this fun fold.
This is what the card looks like when fully opened - the copper highlights in the paper add a look of elegance. The stamped images are from the Prize Peony stamp set and are stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.
A closer look at the front of the card when it is closed. Did you notice the copper pearls? They are actually gold pearls that I colored with the Cinnamon Cider Dark Stampin' Blend to give the copper appearance.
I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies in two places on this card. First, using the largest scalloped rectangle die, I cut the center out of the backing piece so I could use it as my layer. And for the center label I used one of the other dies in the set. The ribbon is also on sale while supplies last - it is a pretty copper metallic.
This video actually took place on my Suestampfield Facebook group the Tuesday before Christmas. With the hectic holidays I got a bit behind on my blogging. So glad I can share it with you now!
